Mood: Frustrated

It is expensive to be vain when living in Sweden. :)

And lord knows that I am vain and loving it too. Lol

When I was travelling a few weeks ago I saw the treatments that many use (and need for our survival *smile*) here for about 1/3rd of the cost here in Sweden.

What is really up with that?

I mean does our hands, feet, hair demand that much more treatment?

I would think not!

But how can a pedicure be 1/3rd of the prices here when doing that abroad?

That is just silly. I mean it is the same treatment they are doing. And sometimes even better abroad too.

I am sure there are some factors in this that I am not aware of but still it is really expensive trying to take care of oneself when living here.

I will keep doing it for sure no matter what the cost but I still cannot help but comparing the pricing of all this. The service is the same and still such an enormous difference in the cost.

I am sure that living in Sweden and having a business here might be more expensive and that in itself will demand higher prices but THAT much more?

I mean the way I see it is that I would book time for more treatments if the pricing were more humane. I can see that my personal need for it is greater than the cost but obviously I am not unfazed by the mounting costs of vanity. :)

It is a great service that we are provided and obviously I think that it is worth more than that 1/3rd but still perhaps somewhere in the middle?

I love to take the time and pamper myself for sure but if it means that I will live on bread and water then it makes the whole equation rather silly.

That is not the case as far as I am concerned but I would not mind at all having more funds to spend on taking care of myself.

Taking care of myself makes me a happier and better person and I get positive energy from doing it too.

But is the price to high? Does it have to be?
