Mood: Confused…
My hair is grey....or white even.
What is up with that?
I am just thirty nine……
Well, actually this is not my fault at all it is my DADS! Lol
Damn You dad! Just kidding!. I love my dad and all the genes I got from him.
He has this wonderful white hair and got grey very early in life.
I guess mums dark genes that prevent the hair from turning grey skipped me.
To be honest I found the first grey around the time I turned thirty. Sitting outside the house in Eskilstuna (where I lived at the time) with mum and she pulled it from my head…..
And then my darling hairdresser (who is such a great person and I just love going to see her) told me at one of my appointments that my hair “shimmered”.
I smiled and thought that she was very kind and then I looked closer in the mirror and the smile quickly faded………
There sure was no shimmer but lots of white hairs…..not grey but white! REALLY WHITE! :)
But I take it in my stride due to the fact that there are so many more things to worry about but the starting to become grey.
So I laughed and she did too and then she performed her magic and I left feeling young and with a head of hair that I loved.
HOWEVER, with this being said I neglected to fix my roots last time I visited the Salon and I am not looking upon lots and lots of grey and white hairs.
I find this kind of funny and smiles when seeing them.
I would not be smiling if I knew that they were not getting fixed next week though. I will sure manage to be grey for another weekend or so.
When my hair is darker as it is now you can for sure see it more clearly then when it´s lighter.
Hmmm….now that is another topic all to itself and now I got to thinking about perhaps changing hair color for Christmas too. :)
Still what is there to be done? I will probably leave the hairdressers next week with an injection of energy and with perfect hair to celebrate the upcoming Christmas.
So to all that feel distressed about the grey hairs.
Go get a fabulous hairdresser that has a fantastic sense of humor and then you can both laugh at it and then enjoy some pampering fixing is to that is will temporarily be gone……
Just saying that being abit grey is not the end of the world as we know it!
